Builders Warehouse Pinetown

I bought a fan in November 2024 got it fitted by a qualified electrician as with all my other lights. The fan broke so the electrician came back took it off and i went to builders warehouse to get it replaced. They then said they cannot replace the ceiling fan as i need a compliance certificate (which you only need when you sell a house) i told them to speak to my electrician they refused and then huddled together 5 africans all speaking their language and ignoring me saying in my face afterwards that i must go and get an compliance certificate. I called the manager phoned the electrician and he spoke to my electrician who said who gets a compliance certificate for a ceiling fan which they bought for R900 paid me R650 to fit now must pay R1500 for a compliance certificate Manager said he will sort out. Then the one african came past me and mocked me right in front of the door saying i cant speak to this lady she is crazy holding his head and making a show for everyone to see. i was shocked and really upset them belittling me and attacking me so badly. The manager did sort it out the next week and told me i can get another fan but cannot exchange it without a compliance certificate they will not take any refunds The acknowledgment of receipt of goods says product under warranty so why could they not swop this fan
