Builders Warehouse out of its depth in the online arena

I placed an order online under my Order Reference CDS***5 effective 27/03/2025 for a single unit Duram Rubberflex Watterproofing 20L (Graphite). Despite the fact that I have processed multiple online orders down the years with Builders Warehouse under a business account for which they are well aware my company is not trading over weekends I received a phone call from the driver they outsource deliveries to on late afternoon Saturday 29/03/2025 claiming he was outside my companies main entrance attempting to deliver. I advised him that we are closed over the weekend and that delivery needs to please be re-scheduled for Monday 31/03/2025. He advised he would re-deliver on the Monday and that was the last I heard from him. Zero delivery was concluded on Monday 31/03/2025 and I was forced to follow up with the branch, Strubens Valley on Tuesday 01/04/2025. Empty promises were once more made to conclude delivery before the close of business 01/04/2025 and once more zero sign of the outsourced driver. Now we are on Wednesday 02/04/2025 and almost the end of the day and still zero delivery!

Given the fact that I ordered a single 20L drum of sealer it is not as if this order was Rocket Science and if Builders Warehouse was even half competent they could have already concluded delivery by Friday 28/03/2025. Clearly business must be absolutely booming 24/7 as this service is non-existent and they don't require additional business / sales!

Builders please stick to running a Brick & Mortar store and leave the selling online to professionals such as Amazon.com because you are way out of your depth in this regards and consider this the last time I support your business online as the onus should never be vested in the customer to chase the supplier around the block, but if the supplier values the customers business then you should be chasing me round the block especially when I spend money with your business. If you want to compete online and it takes you a week to conclude delivery, when opposition online business's such as Amazon.com deliver the next business day then rather terminate your online "business" and stick to traditional Brick & Mortar retail as you are being crucified out there in terms of service and can't support any business that handles orders the way you do.
