Builders Warehouse On-Line selling items when not having stoc****!
I placed 2 different on-line order as the items I needed was not available at all stores. After placing the order and confirming that it would be for collection, I paid in full for the items. The system (on-line order system) clearly indicated that the stores in question did have stock.
I was phoned by the one store sometime later to advise me that they do not have stock of 2 of the 3 items I had ordered. The chap did however say that he would get the stock from other stores and have it collected tomorrow (21 March 2019). I therefore could collect on Friday.
I was not overly happy but conceded. I was then contacted again by the same chap this time informing me that there is no stock of these items anywhere.
I ask for the store managers number so that I can make contact to see how this can be resolved. I phone the number which now just rings.
I make contact with the Builders number and the person I speak to verifies that the system indicates that there is stock. I am told that she will get in touch with the branch and get back to me. Well not as yet.................
I send my driver to go and collect the other item ordered from a different store. Guess what....... I just received a call advising me that they do not have stock of that item.
So in short I have placed 2 separate orders at 2 different shops and paid in full for my orders as the system indicated they have stock. So now Builders Warehouse has my money and I do not get anything in return.
Nice way of making money...........................
Thank you for bringing this to my attention.
I am sorry for the service you've experienced with regards to the orders you've purchased online. I can only imagine the frustration as there is no stock.
We need to address this matter with the relevant parties at the stores you've ordered from.
I will contact you shortly to get the necessary details needed to get to a resolution for you.
Regards,
Athena
