Builders warehouse gives false advertising, contravening the consumer protection act

I went to the Secunda Builders Warehouse. I browsed for some tools, I saw some Mini Ratchet Colour Coded Set and Bosch *****driver bit set. There was no price displayed on the shelve. I went to the self scanner to check the price. The prices on the scanner were R118 and R98 respectively. So when I got to the till, it scanned for R498 and R200! So I called a supervisor, the scanned it and told me that the self scanner price is incorrect and I cannot buy it for the advertised price at all. So there is no prices on the shelve, and the live scanner prices shows a promotional price, however I cannot buy the items for that price.. isn't that in contravention of the consumer protection act? Truly horrible service from a horrible store!
