Builders Warehouse Craighall Park SUCKS !

Really irked by the intransigence of the people manning the till at Builders in Craighall Park. My credit cards kept on getting declined which I knew was not possible because I had plenty of funds. Despite trying 3 different cards all from different banks their systems kept on declining my cards. Of course the till staff BELLOW at the top of their lungs that your card has been declined without even having the intelligence to understand sometimes computer systems don't function properly. I ended up leaving R 1,500 worth of merchandise behind because their POS devices were clearly malfunctioning and they had embarrassed the hell out of me by loudly declaring that my transactions were being declined. I used those selfsame cards at other merchants later that morning where they functioned flawlessly. Teach your staff to A) be aware that POS devices malfunction B) to actually get off their fat asses and do something about the problem and C) to be discreet when discussing the declining of a card. I won't be going back to Builder's anytime soon.
