Builders Warehouse And Other Retail Shops

Tired of false advertising so here goes. Spent 3 weeks googling for a fridge/freezer and washing machine and settled on Builders Faerie Glen. Drove 30km very enthusiastic to be told not stock. Spent 30 minutes looking around and saw a sidebyside Goldair fridge/freezer on promotion marked down from R13,999 to R7,999 Expire 2022/10/11 and also stating On Credit R364 per month x 36 Total repayable R13079 Annual Interest 20.25% (note I was there Saturday 8 October so still within promotion date) NOTE nowhere does it say until stock runs out etc. (I took photos). Very excited again to be told NO STOCK. I enquired does anyone have stock and was told to travel to Builders Erasmus Park (Castle Gate) as they have 1 in stock and so I did. Arrive there to be told their promotion is not same it is in fact R9500. I asked why is this as Builders is not private owned like Spar and promotions should be same in Provinces. The sales person then told me but why did Builders Faerie Glen not allow me to pay the R7,999 and they could have "bought" in the fridge. I answered I asked but was told that they could not. The sales person then phoned the Faerie Glen branch and the final words were that they cannot on promotions. I am SICK AND TIRED of ALL of these companies who advertise their promotions and when you get there you are told NOT STOCK. This applies to ALL the Retail shops this is false advertising to lure people to their shops hoping they will end up buying something else. As mentioned I have spent weeks googling believing that I will find the right product. Unfortunately we cannot phone as the customer service is non existent so we rely on adverti*****ts to spend our valuable time, petrol to be told sorry no stock. It is time that customers start standing up for their rights.
