As a pensioner 69 years of age, I normally buy from Builders Strubensvalley on Wednesdays (I have a pensioners card) I saw this Ryobi electric lawnmower/**** eater combination advertised for the amount of R 1699,00. After my pensioners discount of 10% I should have paid R 1529,10. Only when I got home and checked the slip, I saw that they have charged me R 1999,00 less pensioners discount of R 300,00 Which equal's R 1699,00, the price on the shelf (I don't know how they arrived at R300,00 pensioners discount, as 10% of R 1999,00 equals R 199,90. In fact they have overcharged me R 270,00. R 270,00 may not be a lot of money for some people, but to other pensioners like myself, well , that can feed me and my wife for at least four days - no luxuries. I have tried to contact them on the number on the till slip ***) but that number does not exist. I then tried to obtain a contact number from their website ***) but that number also does not exist. I just feel that we as pensioners are being ****** by Builders by advertising a product for X amount, but after our pensioners discount of 10% comes down to the actual advertised price.
