I have been shopping at Builders warehouse for many years … and dread the experience - only go if a really need to. A lot of people doing a lot of things and pass you from one isle to the other. This was my experience at Fourways. On Friday same thing at Builders Warehouse in Somerset West. Most unhelpful - everybody busy packing shelves - get to the till; Friday afternoon - empty store and no one to help . Us contractors are not paid a salary like the staff - every minute is a cost. The culture is wrong. When I asked to see the senior manager … sorry sir; he is not in ( Golf day right ? ) that figures I said - left my goods and went to Somerset Crossing Build it. What a pleasure - greeting at the door like the old hardware shop days. Well done. Hey - Leroy Merlin … you guys are hot - Pls open up in Somerset - It is cooking - we need service!
