Builders refuse to refund after ***** on my account.

scary to se how many people on here is complaining someone used their money in their builders account. Same happended to me. Address and telephone number was changed and someone purchased online for R12 000. Never recieved an OTP as the number was changed. I indicated that i suspect someone internally was involved as the funds were there for some time. I went into Builders carnival and the cashier told me I have lots of funds available. 2 days later the funds were gone.

I was told to open a case at the police station as they have many of these cases. Today the manager from Builders carnival called Rudi the investigator at builders. She put him on speaker phone. According to him, they can not trace how the details was changed, but somehow came to the conclusion is the clients neglegance as appartently it happens alot. They are not able to provide the IP address or whether it was changed internally or online. Apparently there is no information The just of it, that they will not be refunding me. Rudi is extremely rude and has been shouting to the manager and myself on the phone. Until today the information is loaded to my profile, which means the *****sters will still receive the OTP.

Due to renovations i have spent a large amount of money at builders this year. Ever will I ever support them again.

Next step is to report them for failure to keep my records safe in terms of Popia and issue summons.

Worst service ever.
