Builders Online is offline!

We were opening a new shop and needed an additional card machine, Due to time constraints the supplier suggested we buy from Builders. Being close to us we contacted Builders Kempton Park who said they have what we need in stock but it can only be bought online. We went online and bought the machine... no problem. However, once we were locked into the deal, paid, we were told they can only deliver in 11 days. No amount of query, complaint or threat could do anything about that... We got the machine 14 days later. How can you force customers into a channel and then not deliver. Are they bankrolling their makeover in this way?
