Builders online bulls!t

Hi bought a product online on 23rd June for instore pickup today (28th June) as I have time restrictions with tenants moving in on 1st July. I arrive in store to be told there is no product as their system isn't synced with what's actually in store vs what's reflecting online. My biggest gripe is that no one bothered to call or provide an update on the issue with the stock so that I could make another plan is required. Isn't the point of online a more efficient convenient service? Builders if you can sync offline vs online don't have an e-commerce site. I'll never purchase from you guys again
