Builder's forklift damaged my vehicle without recourse/incident report

I visited the Builders Warehouse in Kempton Part on Saturday 24 July 2021to buy some pre-mixed concrete and concrete building blocks. there was then an incident where the forklift driver that brought my 20 blocks by forklift, knocked and damaged my vehicle. The manner in which the incident was handled, was pathetic to say the least. I offered to give my statement, however was told that I can leave and someone will contact me for my statement. Someone did indeed contact me, however they got my name wrong - which already started that discussion off on a negative note. The representative from Builder's then asked me to send them a statement; this is the first time that see this approach to a statement to accompany an incident report - no outline of process/next steps, no pictures, no names no time of occurrence, just an instruction to me to do their work. I assume the damage is now my problem,
