Builders Express- Chinese Ryobi

Bought a Ryobi polisher for R1300. After approx 10 minutes it became smoky and hot. Took it back to Builders Waterkant Road Durban North and got normal response from the pretty unhelpful staff. We will send it to Ryobi . Could take 3 weeks. After the problem I looked on Hello Peter and there are complaints about this machine already. Repair bills amount to more than the selling price. It even states that Builders have stopped selling this item because of numerous comebacks. Pity no one bothered to inform my local branch of Builders. They really should stop selling this brand of product. Final result, I dont have a machine and expect the normal cop-out response from the suppliers. Abuse by purchaser. Warning to all. Dont buy a chinese product ie Ryobi and if you must then buy it from a retail store willing to back up the customer.
