Builders Clowns

A few years ago my perception of the brand was about a 4 star. I always thought they stood for solid values coupled with an holistic offering & great service. However in recent years i've had to make allot more purchases from my local (Parow) branch and even the N1 city branch from time to time. My perception has since dropped drastically. Whether it's an in store, online or delivery service it is been beyond pathetic on all counts of my purchases. From bait advertising (First time online purchase discount of 15%). To staff not knowing their specific area of expertise. The most annoying is the consistency of the pathetic services of the online purchasing & delivery. Codes are always wrong online so wrong items always delivered and sourced from a branch a million miles away. I thought maybe it's just me so this time i asked my wife to make an online purchase for 2 rolls of wallpaper. So the payment goes through and within a few days 1 roll of wallpaper gets delivered but it's the wrong one. My wife asked asked the delivery guy to rather take it back as it is incorrect. The delivery guy insists on her taking it as he was "acting on instruction from the warehouse". However the next day someone calls my wife and tells her the delivery guy was called and told to not deliver. Anyway, after a week of her going back & forth she gets a call to say correct 2 rolls will be delivered and the incorrect will be collected. Today they delivered 1 roll and it is another incorrect one. This is another level of bad service, the brand will forever be imprinted in my mind as clowns - the overstatement of the general service conduct.
