Builders Cedar Square (Lalela Inverter)

I bought an inverter from their store on the 16/01/2023 for R7000 with 1 year warranty with promises that it will last 8 hours with only a laptop and wifi being plugged. I followed all the instructions as required to preserve the battery life. However mid March the battery won't even last 2 hours, the biggest question was how is it possible that an inverter that is 2 months old not last with only wifi and modem being plug in?

So I decided to take it back to the store where they told that they'll will NOT get involved I as customer must contact their supplier. To me as customer that didn't make any sense because I didn't buy the product from the supplier but their store. So eventually after I complained on Twitter they then took the inverter back but they'll need to conduct an assessment by their supplier that is Lalela PTY LTD. I was specific that I want a refund because they misled me into buying that inverter knowingly that they have issues with battery life.

So Lalela is saying I damaged the battery but they know that the inverter is not up to standard. They are giving consumers false promises of 8 hours or more. I even spoke to Duane Maffeis from Lalela he admitted that those inverters have low quality batteries I quote " Hence we no longer sell lead acid batteries but only Lithium batteries now".

So the store is refusing to refund me they saying their supplier is unable to refund them. I have emails with the report from Lalela that is not truthful as they trying by all means to blame me as the customer.
