Builder Warehouse misleading information via on-line store

I purchased a Ryobi battery operated sprayer on-line and waited two weeks to arrive. I collected this at the Nandi Drive branch and when I got home I unpacked the item only to find that there is no battery and charger. The box states that this is not included, so the problem I have is that the on-line advert makes no mention of this. I tried to call the customer service number and after holding on for 20 minutes was cut off. I then went to the Nandi Drive branch and went to their customer services area. They called a person to attend to me after waiting 15 minutes. This person could not understand that Builders Warehouse is false advertising so I requested a manager that took another 20 minutes to get to me, most frustrating. Ravi the manager was helpful but not to the point of resolving the matter. He suggested that he will sell me the battery and charger at cost that worked out more expensive than the item I purchased. Whilst this a consumer protection issue based on false advertising and the supplier not wanting to take accountability, this is a warning to others to be careful when ordering on-line via Builders Warehouse. I returned the item for a credit seeing that this was going no where.
