I bought a chain saw on 2 August 2015 from Builders warehouse in Witbank and it just died without starting on the 16 August 2015. On Wednesday 19 August we returned it to the branch under warranty and ever since it is the one story after the other about the repairs and acceptance of the quote. I went to the branch on 18 September 2015 because there was an amount of +- R250 to be paid by me for the repairs. The lady at the returns desk took me to the branch manager (Francois) to sort out my problem. I explained to Francois that I am not happy to pay the fee for repairs since the chainsaw was still under warranty. He then agreed and told the lady at returns to remove the fee from the quote and have it repaired and also said I can pick up the chainsaw on Monday 21 September 2015. Now after a further 2 weeks the chainsaw is not back yet and when I spoke to him this morning he can't remember anything about talking to me. Nobody wants to commit themself to a date and time and I have just recieved a message that they will call me when the chainsaw is ready for collection. To be honest I want my money back because with this kind of service, what will happen out of warranty. Thanks
Best regards,
