Beware of Senior Citizen discount application

On Wednesday I went to buy some chlorine products. It is the discount day for Senior citizens. Due to previous bad experiences I checked the pricing label color, since specials are not subject to a discount.<br> The label was Green. I asked at information what is the green label. She did't know and started to guessing. Another employee explained that Red is slow moving articles, Green is fast moving and Blue is on special.<br> I proceeded with the purchase. At the till suddenly the articles were not subject to discount. I asked for a complaint card, but they do not use them anymore. I phoned the hotline and yes, they are aware of the problem and are investigating, and are sorry for the inconvenience...They even tried that these articles are selling below cost, yet I got them across the road at Makro even cheaper. It is a free market and they can sell for whatever price they wish. however once a rules are set , to bend them at the till is *********. Builders Warehouse started very well, but since then they go down on a steep slope. I suspect they have joined the modern trend-No ethics and greed.
