Beware Builders Warehouse Online Ordering

Do not use their online ordering service - the expected date is meaningless.

I ordered an item on 29th march, the collection date was given as 8/4/18 - not too long to wait

On 11/4/18 I hadn't heard a thing, so I called them - I was told that they didn't have stock and they would order it.

On 16/4/18 I enquired again - they had no idea when it was expected - it could take anything up to 2 weeks!!

Bearing in mind that I paid for the item on 29/3/18. a meaningless "sorry" was given half heartedly.

I'm sorry that your order wasn't ready to collect as expected and for the overall service.

This certainly isn’t the experience we want you as our customer to have.

Yes, the business has responded - with a call to say that it will be looked in to. I received an email asking when was a good time to call me - despite responding to this twice I have not had any further contact It is now 24th April - when I ordered the item it was expected on the 8th April - I still have no idea when it will arrive!

It is now more than 3 weeks since the expected arrival date - I still don't know when the item will arrive. Responding with a "I will look into it" is not actually a meaningful response.
