Bennet Read fan purchase at Builders Warehouse Bloemfontein - Tevo for Repairs

I purchased a Bennet Read 40cm Rechargeable fan from Builders warehouse on the 31 December 2025 due to us having a power failure and the rise in temperature.

I came home and opened the fan and used it perhaps half and hour but when I wanted to switch it on the second time the fan would not spin - you could hear the motor trying to get it to spin but no movement.

I returned it back to the store on the Saturday afternoon the 3 January 2026 and was told their Computer system was down and they would have to return to supplier TEVO for repairs.

i have enquired at store now 3 times since and was told it was only sent in a week later! also I noted that it was under a different clients name as Mrs Chetty? with my Cell Number??

I paid R1499.00 for this item it is 37 degrees in Bloem and over 3 weeks have gone by with no feedback or any help?

I feel this is very poor and noted that Builders Warehouse have removed this product from their shelves as a whole - they don't have a replacement for me!

I feel they should just refund me at this stage as recover losses from Bennet Read themselves!
