Bad service from Builders Express Durban North

I bought a lot of paint and accessories for painting my house. The painter complained about the quality of Plascon paints that it required them to do multiple coat for the colour to even up. Thereby requiring more paint. I normally used Dulux paint before, I knew the coverage of the 20 liter. This left me with one conclusion that they sold me expired paint and the paint was on special. Logged a complaint with the shop and Plascon. Steve Wilson responded asking for a sample to test. Came back with no fault on the paint. Yet there's similar reviews with same complaints. But they are not finding anything wrong with the paint. The shop closed the complaint based on their supplier's feedback. Meaning they also don't care about my satisfaction on what I bought from them.
