Bad Customer Service

Visited Builders warehouse edenvale meadowdale at 10:00am today morning, was all excited to purchase my ALVA 3 panel gas heater mini version, was selling for R980. The sales guy showed it to me and i compared it with the Megamaster selling for R799, i was happy with the Alva and said i want one, and also the Alva 4.5kg gas cylinder. The sales guy said the one we have been testing on the shelf is the last one as there is no stock, so i requested to get a demo model discount. The sales guy insisted its not a demo model, i said the box is open, customers are using it to test and there are full scratches on the side. He said no its not a demo model. He didnt not want to be helpful and clearly was not happy to assist in making a sale. Ive never had such an experience in the 15 years that ive been shopping at Builders warehouse Edenvale. As i was storming out the store he mentioned to talk to the manager, by then it was too late, his attitude ruined everything! The sale was lost for both items that i intended to buy and all future sales, I will not set foot into another builders warehouse or express ever again, thank God for Leroy Merlin.
