Bad Customer Experience - Time Waster
Hi Builders Warehouse,
I just bought two shower heads from your store ( Sunning Hill)
Date: 09 Aug 20 Time: 11:03 Cash Sale: C***
I don't understand why if you provide one of your staff members, assigned to a specific area of expertise that the incorrect information is given and the wrong product sold.
The reason for this compliant is relevant to the product I bought. Now i cant install the 2 shower heads which requires me coming back to your store after i gave the existing shower head as a sample to make sure that the correct fitting matches so that there wont be issues.
So i cant shower today and I need to know come back to your store ? Waiting my time and everyone else's
This is not the first time your staff has provided me with incorrect advice.
If you don't have competent people that are efficiently trained why are they working in your store, wasting peoples time ?
I will be returning this for a refund.
Don't offer a service with help if you don't know, it doesn't work and its wrong.
I want a call and i want you to draw the CCTV camera footage so that you can see correct the gaps in your staff's knowledge to avoid wasting customer's time and causing frustration.
Also don't offer an online chat function if you are unable to even do that, so not a great experience

Thanks for your response. Last weekend i bought a TV bracket to mount a 70 inch television set to my wall at home. I had to return for wall plugs and *****s, brought a sample with and the service assistant provided me with the wrong *****s which required a spanner etc, luckily i could see it wasn't going to work. So i left it there.
Yesterday i needed to buy some tubing to ( conduit pipe) required for tidying up some wiring in my kitchen. The gentleman in the service section guided me in different directions so i eventually had to find what i was looking for myself.
Yesterday i removed the broken shower head component from my shower at home so that i could provide an example of the size and fitting, following the last incident where i had to return back to the store buying the correct plugs and *****s to make sure it works.
I think the important thing to note is the amount of time spent between going to your store and coming back and then having to go back again. I am not a busy body or a person that loves complaining, if someone asks you for directions to a certain place anyone's response would be to help, but giving the wrong directions in response trying to help is not right. If you don't know you don't know.
It doesn't cost builders warehouse the time and effort to run up and down between the store and home, wasting customers limited time.
I recently moved to Sunninghill, and I have been using Uber services as i am waiting for delivery of my car. So up and down with uber's with the wrong fittings and ***** sets is not the most pleasant experience if you understand what i mean. It also costs money and time.
I had to open the packaging to try and fit the shower heads, so i will need a refund from builders warehouse.
It could be just my bad luck, i will need a refund and not a credit note as the packaging has been opened, so unfortunately this one is on builders warehouse.
