Bad advertising and stock holding

Went builders to buy a shower and tray with taps etc. We vied the stuff December and noticed everything on promo was out of stock. Was at the store on the 3rd of March and just everything is still out of stock.

Since December displayed on promo but out of stock. 2 months later exactly the same displays and they never recieved stock. No they say the supplier cant supply them. Surely the right thing to do when builders is aware of not getting any more stock is NOTIFY THE CONSUMER (SIGNAGE) and not have a nice display of promo stock that they dont sell. This includes taps etc REMOVE THE DISPLAY UNITS. This is misleading the consumer. I was at the store on wednesday and the lady said they have 2 instock. Go to the store today. System shows 2 instock. However nothing. Thats after waiting for assistance as no one was to found. It took about 20 min for someone to assist just waste my time and after another 20 min to tell me NO STOCK. MY TIME IS IMPORTANT AND I DONT THINK IT IS ETHICAL AND PROFESSIONAL TO MISLEAD AND WASTE CONSUMERS TIME AND MONEY. IM REALLY FRUSTRATED AND ANNOYED. WASTE OF TIME AND EFFORT.
