Avoid Builders online shopping facility

The delivery of our online purchase never arrived, despite accepting a 2 week delay because there wasn't a single store in the entire Cape Town district that had everything we wanted in store (which defeats the purpose of an online store, right?).

That said, at 5pm on the delivery date I phoned the call centre after receiving no delivery, just to find out the store still didn't have everything we bought in stock and will therefore not make the delivery on the day (no courtesy call from the Constantia Berg branch whatsoever). This despite a phone call that morning to confirm a time and they simply said someone had to be at the house entire day.

Since then (and that was 3 weeks ago) we've been trying to cancel our order by phoning the call centre, sending emails (all ignored) and going in-store twice. Today it got cancelled at last, but let's see if they can keep their promise of a refund within 5 days.

I've lost complete trust in Builders Warehouse and will never support them again. Please learn from my experience.
