Apathetic Builders Warehouse Zambezi

On Saturday 11 July I went to Builders Warehouse in Zambezi to buy bricks. Before I left home, I checked the website to make sure the store had stock of the bricks I intended to buy. Before placing the order I asked when delivery would be in my area and was told my bricks would arrive the following Tue. On Thursday I phoned customer care and was told they would follow up and get the store to call me. On Fri morning (today) I got a call from customer care to say that the store would call me within an hour. They didn't and I had to call customer care again, late afternoon. They were then able to ascertain that the store was out of stock, which is intriguing considering there was stock on the day I bought the bricks and according to the website the store currently, as I'm typing, has 434 of those bricks in stock. So a blatant lie to get out of trouble, then? I have someone arriving to work with the bricks tomorrow morning and will have to pay them regardless. I then asked to cancel the order and apparently I have to go into the store to do so. More of my time and money wasted, chasing bricks. Just to reiterate, I've had NO FEEDBACK from the actual store despite promises of a call, nor was I ever told by them directly that there was no stock. Not my first bad experience with this particular branch, unfortunately.
