Absolutely No Customer Service

The 1 Star rating is in fact too high for Strubensvalley Builders Warehouse, but unfortunately 0 star rating is unavailable. Certainly not the first time I have had to deal with unhelpful, arrogant staff at this store. Today I went to enquire if they might have a cistern lid in their warehouse, possibly a cistern had cracked? The manager of the bathroom department immediately informed the enquiries lady that there wasn't. Obviously too much effort to get off his chair and check. When I then said that I wished to speak to a manager face to face, I had the joy of dealing with someone who you could see was just waiting for me to finish speaking so that he could reply in the negative. I was informed that the warehouse had just been cleared so it wouldn't be there. When I asked if he could take my details and let me know if one became available I was informed that this might only happen once a year, but probably not. No offer to check with other stores, in fact no effort to offer any assistance whatsoever. Once again Builders Warehouse has shown how absolutely lacking they are in Customer Service. On contacting the Builders Warehouse Gauteng Head Office, the person I spoke to told me to hold for his manager, only to return after a couple of minutes to ask for the details of the complaint. Obviously his manager was also too busy to deal with an unhappy customer - now we know where the staff at the stores get their unhelpful attitudes ......... straight from the top!
