A FAULTY RYOBI INVERTER GENERATOR

I Bought a RYOBI INVERTER GENERATOR on the 05/06/23…It stopped working on the 27th October 2023.We bought this generator to use during loadshedding and it was hardly used as we where also not home for almost 2 months. We took it back to builders as it didn’t wanna start up and their return/refund policy clearly states that “WITHIN 6 MONTHS FROM DATE OF PURCHASE WE WILL GLADLY REPAIR,REPLACE OR REFUND “ Now we are told to pay for a major service which costs R772.80 in order for the Generator to be repaired as it has a run time of 95 hours (Which is a lie) as we hardly used this Generator .This was definitely not mentioned when we did the purchase .You want to charge us a Labour fee of R507.15 for a faulty product that hasn’t been with us for even 6 months? Kindly deal RYOBI and tell them it’s eaither they replace this weak generator or refund us our money back. Job Card 458113
