builders mechant
the company does not del on its promises i order and paid for the product they short del and mr vinsent makes promises for the last 2 weeks but it does not happen then the phone numbers and branches do not exist they don't have branches in cape town and durban at all they dont even own a truck or a depo beware of this company

Buildes umhlanga manager not interested in assisting customers with legitimate complaints.
My pond pump stopped working after a few years. Bought a new one from builders umhlanga. It worked well for a few hours then reduced to a trickle. Tried to return it and swop for a bigger one but managet said not possible- it was the dirt in the pond blocking the water flow. This did not happen with previous pumps - nor with the other 4 pumps in my fish tanks. Manager not interested in customer issues.

My pond pump stopped working after a few years. Bought a new one from builders umhlanga. It worked well for a few hours then reduced to a trickle. Tried to return it and swop for a bigger one but managet said not possible- it was the dirt in the pond blocking the water flow. This did not happen with previous pumps - nor with the other 4 pumps in my fish tanks. Manager not interested in customer issues.

This is probably the most unprofessional company in this industry! From their website it looks quite professional but got fooled by it... Placed an oder for sand, which when the truck arrived with "4 Tons" they did not arrive with a tipper truck and also had no tools or means to offload the sand from the truck, had to provide the driver&worker tools to offload by hand.(Shovel) At this point I called the company as I could not believe they would arrive on site with no means to offload the sand ordered. Even with expressing the inconvenience there was no explenation on how they could arrive without the means to offload. While offloading (which is taking up a lot of time by hand) they then asked me if is enough as the truck had more sand than ordered. This is ridicules as there is no way to determine how much was offloaded and upon contacting the company again, they just rep**** that they will offload till I am satisfied... to determine the amount ordered initially this is virtually impossible and a huge frustration on myself including the inconvenience of time it took with them resting in between and also with only working with one shovel (mine) to off-load "4 tons" of sand. I do not see how a company can stay in business like this and how I as the customer I need to determine/decide with now way to measure the amount of sand to be off-loaded. I'll rate the company their personnel negative and will avoid at all cost in future...for any services!

***** ALERT - THIS **** BUSINESS IS ****.
This is ***** operation, look on google streetview for the addresses listed, none of the addresses are Builders Merchant. There is one person that can be contacted, a filthy ***** by the name of Vincent. I contacted the shipper they told me they used and found out that Builder Merchant don't exist on their system.
