Employee takes goods from property without permission and sells to s**** yard

Extremely disappointing experience with Protector Build.

During work at my property, a Protector Build employee removed copper piping, electrical wiring and other materials belonging to me without my knowledge or permission and sold them for s****. These materials were not part of their agreed scope of work.

The company subsequently acknowledged in writing that the employee acted contrary to company policy. Despite this, I have still not been adequately reimbursed for my loss. I requested evidence relating to the s****-yard transaction, but it was not provided.

What has been equally concerning is how Protector Build has handled the matter since: delays, poor communication, unanswered calls and messages, and a failure to provide a satisfactory solution. After escalating the matter directly to Director Herman Bekker, their legal representative became involved, but my request for reimbur*****t remains unresolved.

I attempted to resolve this privately and gave the company ample opportunity to do so. I have now had to issue a formal Letter of Demand.

A client should not have to fight this hard for accountability after their property is removed and sold without permission. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Protector Build.
