Ricky - what a f¿©#ing amazing chap

I am taking this effort to tell you all about a very beautiful story of good customer service.

Some background: I am in the building space and happened to be in rondebult for my most recent development. Before I started my 1st venture - I went to build it it rondebult and received what was remarkably the worst service one could receive. In fact, I am still of the opinion that store is located in the most opportune location for revenue purposes and still has alot of potential to generate revenue if the staff complement, performance management processes and/or recruitment processes could be reviewed.

So back to my story... After receiving this terrible service I then went to cashbuild in Dawn Park where I received the total opposite of service and also received some pretty good discounts as I buy quite alot.

So from that point on I've been with cashbuild and have even taken loans against properties which I've developed and it's been a really lovely journey if I can say so myself - I want to add that the drive to cashbuild is further than the drive to Buildit but I still opted for the further drive.

This was until the past 2 months where I happened to be in Buildit (only God knows why) and I met a guy by the name of Ricky! My lord... What a chap!

Ricky is nothing less than the epitome of customer service! This guy takes time to understand his customers requirements and advise based on that and what WILL actually meet the customers need - no matter how long that may take.

I've even seen there were times where I'd find him busy with something and he would stop what he's doing (and I could see on the look on his face that what he was doing is very NB but he's sadly chosen me lol) and would assist me no matter how long it would take - as opposed to the current staff compliment that sends you from pillar to post for assistance and only to give you ****py advice at the end of it all.

I want to applaud who ever it is that appointed/associated Ricky with the store - he is literally like a breath of fresh air.

So to whoever is reading this - make damn sure that the next time you go to Buildit in Rondebult that you ask for Ricky - that is IF you want pleasant service!
