Manager refused to give item on price I saw on the shelve.

I went to go buy paint at Build it ahmedia at surrey estate, the price on the shelve was R1400 and sales man confirmed it os that price, when I went to pay the price changed to R2400. The manager was told and he refused to give with the price I saw on the shelve. He then advised the Sales to remove the price on shelves
