I’M GLAD THAT I DID NOT HOLD MY BREATH FOR AN ANSWER
I am painting a roof at my PE house and a friend told me about Eco Rubber Roof Waterproofing. I contacted Eco Rubber, but they do not sell directly to the public. They suggested that I contact my nearest Build it. These days I do all my enquiries on-line because petrol is pricey to drive from one store to the next. Last Thursday [16th November], I went to Build it’s web site and clicked on their “Chat now, we’re online” banner. I typed the list of eco rubber items that I needed and asked for the price and availability. I indicated that Build It Stanford was the closest store to me. Rosalie [Build It’s on line agent] asked me for my "name, phone number, and email" and informed me that she would pass my request and added that " they'll get in touch with you about costs and availability." The following day [Friday 17th], at 09h50, I received a call from Luyando [Build it Stanford]. We went over the items that I was enquiring about. Build It Stanford had all but one item in stock. Luyando said that he was going to find out about getting stock and would come back to me.
TWO WEEKS LATER, I’M STILL WAITING FOR THAT CALL.
Naturally, I have gone to Builders Warehouse and bought an alternative Rubber Roof Waterproofing product to coat over my roof. And at a fraction of the price. This is not the first time that a Build It store has disappointed me. I do realise that each Build It store is owner-operated and managed, but I am reviewing this under the Build it banner.
PLEASE, there is NO NEED for you to reply with your standard response: “Hi [my name], thank you for sharing your experience with Build it, we will escalate this with Build it Stanford and contact you with feedback. Thanks, and regards [agent’s names] @ Build it Customer Care. There is NO NEED for you to contact me either.
