Exchanging of a unit

<p>Purchased a pressure valve unit on the 28th ofJanuary at Buildit Winterton only to find out that it has been purchased already i have been in contact with the stores in Gauteng and the regional manager Johanne and have not been assisted. i have been told by Johanne the only way i can get a refund or exchange of the unit is to personally drive back all the way to Winterton or to get a courier company and send it back to the store which is an inconvience to me. It does not state anywhere on the slip that i can not get a refund at another branch how can a regional manager say that the best solution is for me to go back to kzn to get a refund. im based in johannesburg and the only reason i purchased this unit at Winterton was that it was convieniet and on my way back to johannesburg. The service i have rfeceived from Buildit has left a bitter taste to my month how can a company have such policies and stipulate them on the slip or let the sales consultants to in form customers before they purchase????</p>
