Build it Paint

I am extremely disappointed with the quality of this paint. In December, I purchased a 20-litre container of Build It Durable Smooth Matt Walls & Ceiling Acrylic PVA to repaint my new apartment. The surface was properly prepared and the paint was app**** correctly, following all standard procedures. This product was recommended to us, so we trusted it would be suitable.

To my shock, I later discovered that simply wiping a dirty area with a slightly wet cloth causes the paint to wipe off completely. It comes off like chalk on a wall. This is completely unacceptable for a paint marketed for interior and exterior use. A wall should be able to handle basic cleaning—this is the bare minimum expectation.

If this paint were used on the exterior of a building, it would literally wash away with rain. That raises serious concerns about the quality and durability of this product.

As a result, I am now out of pocket. I have to repaint my entire apartment again and pay for labour a second time, all because this paint has failed to perform as advertised. This has cost me both money and time, and the frustration is immense.

I expected far better from a product sold as “durable.” This has been a complete waste of money, and I would not recommend this paint to anyone.
