Build It Carletonville: poor customer service response
On Wednesday, 12 July 2023, I went to Build It Carletonville and saw Duram Armatex paint on special with an opportunity to win a gas burner.
I purchased two twenty litre drums of Duram Armatex paints. After paying, and receiving the invoice I enquired how I can enter the competition to stand a chance to win one of the gas burners as advertised in the store.
I was told by Build It Attendent by the name of Vuyo that "it is complicated". I asked again why is it advertised if it is complicated. His reply was again "it is complicated".
I am disappointed with the response from Build It Carletonville.
Build It Carletonville, please do not advertise for things that you are not willing to follow through on.

Please note that I have an email from Mpho Lenaba today informing me that this matter is due for closure and asking me for feedback.
It is unfortunate that I am being asked for feedback as I I was expecting feedback from Build It that my complaint has been taken seriously and whether any steps would be taken to prevent a recurrence.
As feedback from my side is that I have not been contacted by the store or provided an explanation why the incident occurred or advised of any mitigating circumstances that I may not be aware of.
I hope that complaints in the future are dealt with better before closure.
Please note that I have an email from Mpho Lenaba today informing me that this matter is due for closure and asking me for feedback.
