BAD EXPERIENCE AT BUILD IT ESHOWE 😡😡

I got a building loan from Capitec and R350 000 was transferred to Build it Eshowe Branch.

Everything went well and I was receiving best service from Kevin (The Supervisor)

I bought 20 doors from them having been advised that they are good. The doors were installed and on the very same day the weather changed and it rained. The following day the doors were seriously damaged, the nails/ *****s detached and they were deformed.

I spoke to the supervisor and he engaged the manager Mark, and I was told the company that manufactures them was closed since it was December and later was told that they can only take back the 10 that was not installed.The other ten that was damaged I must try to fix it.

I was now stuck with 10 doors that I could not use because they were seriously damaged. In January I was told that the company that manufactures the doors said they can fix the doors for me but they gonna charge me. Which I refused.

The Supervisor came to the site and saw how damaged the doors were but the Build it insisted that they cannot do anything.

I ended up buying new doors at Build Rite and replaced all doors which was not even budgeted for. Build it Eshowe took my money for the doors the manufacture got the money but the product that was sold to me was not upto standard and Im left on my own to deal with the problem.

Im thinking of reporting this matter to my lawyer because I have spent R350 000 in that shop but I'm treated this way. Im seriously disappointed.

My understanding is that they should have taken the doors back and return them to the supplier because it was just a space of a few days. It cannot be that Build it sells me something and if it shows that it is not upto the build it standard I'm left alone to deal with that.

Im never going to take my money to that shop again
