Do not use Build-aWall.

I used Build-a-wall in 2017/2018 to raise the vibracrete wall in my yard. The work was done professionally.

When I needed to have my front-wall demolished and a new wall installed together with palisade fencing a few weeks ago, I got three quotes, which included Build-a-wall. By virtue of my previous experience with Build-a-Wall, I was biased in selecting them to do the work. And that was my mistake. I should have checked the Google Reviews - which was a combination of positive and negative experiences, however, the reviews in the last 9 months tell a story.

My project was meant to start on November 1, so paid 60% deposit mid-October as I was led to believe that a two week order and manufacture lead time was sufficient to start the project in November.

The project was a series of stop-starts and numerous excuses, that I started dreading Monday mornings. By November 25, only 50% project was done and by December 2 I received a request for 50-100% of the balance to be paid as the contractor had cash flow issues and could not complete my project. That was the biggest red flag and decided to source a new palisade manufacturer and installations contractor. When I calculated the deposit that was paid versus the work that done, money is owing to me, but doubt that it will be reimbursed to me.

I am not one to give negative reviews on public forums, but in this instance I am giving a transparent review to prevent other customers from being ********. Do not use this contractor as their integrity and reliability is seriously questionable.
