Drunk Teacher on the Teachers Opening Day at Buhle Park Secondary School in Germiston, Ekurhuleni

It is shameful that the department of education permits drunk school teacher to be at the school premises offering help to parents. I arrived at the school having been referred by the department of education. The guy was seated at the school office wearing very dark sun glasses.I greeted and advised him that I was coming from the district office for child placement. His response was "what do you expect when you come this time" Yes I was late but it was not my fault, I had been sitting at the district office in Alberton for the whole day. After he realised that I didn't take kindly to his response he stood up from a corner table where he was seated. On his way ro the front desk, he was staggering,and as he got closer to the service point I was already smelling alcohol. He ireluctantly ntroduced himself as Daniel after several attempts to get his name. He apologized for his rude response and tried to justify that he remained at the school whilst other teachers left because he is passionate to assist parents.Another guy came out of the office and I opted to approach him instead of being serviced by a drunk teacher, but the guy informed me that he does not work there he just came to see his friend. It looked like they were drinking together in the office but the 2nd guy was not visibly drunk as the teacher.There were 2 ladies who went in and I asked if they also work there and they said nope. I started wondering what was happening there, We cannot be serviced by such a drunkard, neither our children can be at the hands of such a teacher. What example is he setting for our kids, right on the 1st day of school opening. The department must investigate this and take appropriate action against this teacher.The principal also needs to account as to the conduct of his subordinate.The department has been placed in disrepute, shame on you Panyaza and your MEC, you always play big on the meda pretending to be on top of your game when the school official come to school drunk, and only until something huge happens at the hands of a drunkn eacher you'll come out barking on TV. I'm not a whistleblower here, contact me and I will show up and I can take you to the school in question in broad daylight and point the teacher. This behavior cannot be condoned, it must be condemned.
