Do not use this company. Big *******

<p>I needed a gas and plumbing certificate for house I sold so I booked them. Took them 5 minutes to do the plumbing inspection at a cost of R375. All they did was turn on taps and climb in roof to check geyser. No issues.</p> <p>On the other hand the gas also took around 5 minutes to inspect and then I paid before they would release the quote which was just over R1200 to extend hose by around 2 metres. when I asked for an itemised breakdown of quote they told me labour was R495 per hour and it was 1.5 hours work. I asked for breakdown of materials they were using and they refused to give it to me. They then said they would refund me cost of inspection as I said I had a right to a breakdown for the materials and also labour costs excessive. I then got another company in who extended the hose by 5 metres and it cost me R1050 for compliance certificate, labour and materials which were itemised on the invoice. What a ******* - 60% more and they failed to comply with regulations which meant it needed to be 5m distance from the aircon unit above it which the company I used picked up and showed me in their regulation handbook.</p> <p>When I went back to them and told them this their Operations manager accused me of being abusive and refused to have any further contact with me. They ad markup to materials and also charge excessively for labour. They also find things wrong that are not actually required in terms of regulation just to increase their profit. DO NOT USE THEM!!!</p>
