Bugs and Sparks unprofessional and *********

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. Their unprofessionalism and poor service is the least headache and stress you want to have when selling your property. Their price seem cheap but please don't be fooled by it, it a TRAP. They will make up stories that something is wrong to charge you more. I got them to do a bug and electrical inspection, after the inspection they declared my flat bug free but they listed a lot of things wrong with the electrics that needs a repair and additional stuff that needs to be bought and installed. Though I am not an electrician but as a construction professional, I knew their report doesn't add up and everything they said were lies. I got two different companies to do the electrical inspection and they found nothing wrong with the electrics. The installations were still intact, nothing needs changing or repairing as the apartment was fairly new only 3 years old.

It was almost impossible to get the Bug COC from them because they wanted to make more money from the electrical COC. I lost counts on the numbers of calls and emails I sent to them. The minute I made payment after inspection, their communication dropped. They no longer pick up calls and respond to emails. When I eventually got through to them, they kept making promises and blame shift among themselves that they will send it but they never did. When I told them I will review them on every social media platform, their manager called to apologise for their poor service. Even after that you would think I got my bug COC? No that was just a trick to prevent me from reviewing them. I only got my COC after 4 days because apparently they forgot about the bug inspection that was done. They only focused on the electrical that they could make more money one. If you must work with Bug and Sparks, make sure you have someone around who is skilful in the area that you need their services. Otherwise, they might tell you, your entire house needs rewiring and your light bulbs are not good enough they all needs to be replaced by them so they will send you their quote to pay extra even though there is absolutely nothing wrong in your house.

Hi Dolly, please can you provide the street name of the property you had sold, or your full name, as we cannot find your name on our system and therefore cannot respond to your comments appropriately. We look forward to hearing from you soon. Bugs & Sparks Operations Director

Hi, I am not surprised you guys couldn’t find my name on your system the same way you guys couldn’t remember I paid for bug inspection and it was a mission to get my CoC.
Though the incident I’m referring to happened just last week and I sent emails with my name on and everything but I guess I am already in your book of history. It okay, the whole point of coming here is not for you to justify your poor service but to share my experience with you guys and let people know how Bug and Sparks operate.

Dear Dolly,

Thank you for sharing your experience with us on Hellopeter. We value all feedback from our clients and strive to improve our services continuously. After thoroughly investigating your case, we've located your information in our system. We sincerely apologize for any confusion caused by the initial oversight in finding your name, which differs from your full name on our system, and we appreciate your patience while we rectified the issue.
From the outset of your journey with Bugs & Sparks, our processes and policies were communicated clearly to ensure a smooth and efficient inspection and compliance certificate issuance. However, we understand that sometimes miscommunications can occur, and we will work to enhance our communication further.
Regarding your concerns about our electrical report and quote, we want to assure you that our company strictly adheres to regulatory guidelines when issuing a valid Certificate of Compliance (CoC). Each item on our quotes is backed by relevant regulations, ensuring compliance and safety for your property. If our inspectors identify any maintenance-related matters that are not necessary for issuing a valid CoC, they may include them in the inspection reports as a courtesy to you. However, we do not quote or insist on addressing these items unless requested by the client. It's crucial to understand that just because a property is recently built does not automatically guarantee compliance with electrical and other safety regulations. Compliance requirements evolve over time, and new properties need to undergo thorough inspections to ensure they meet the latest safety standards.

Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience you experienced during your engagement with us. We genuinely appreciate your feedback, as it allows us to grow and improve our services. If there's anything more we can do to assist you or if you have any further questions about our compliance certification process, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.

Best regards,Bugs & Sparks Team

Hello Bucks & Sparks,

It very easy to act professional on social media to deceive people and paint a good image of yourselves but the reality is totally opposite.
Firstly, you claim your processes were clearly communicated, should I remind you that when I came to enquiry about your services, I gave the date of my transfer and when I needed the certificate by. Your company promised me they can deliver. They made me believe it not a problem, they will do everything to make sure I get my certificate in time. Even if issues were found, it will be fixed within the time frame to meet my deadline from the Lawyers. This was clearly communicated and they promised me.

Secondly, all the things listed in your list and insisted was required by your inspectors were deemed by other two qualified companies as **** and not needed / required on the apartment. In fact part of the things that they said needed to be bought, there were still extras that have never been used on the dash board.
Why were your inspectors listing unnecessary items that are not needed for CoC but refused to give COC because of that and your Company knowing fully well those things are not needed but still required me to make extra payment to buy and fix those things. Why quote me for unnecessary things when you know they are not needed? Is that not a **** to you?

Actually thank you for that statement, you just confirm how you guys **** people at Bucks and Sparks . As a victim, I'm glad I came here to let people know how you guys operate.
