Poor service and queues for people who booked and paid in advance
Endless long queues at Budget Car Rental at Cape Town Airport, even though we booked and paid in advance. There is no separate queue for customers with confirmed bookings, and the queues move painfully slow. Because of this delay, we missed our check-in time at our apartment and ended up paying a penalty. Completely unacceptable. This was on 3 January, so I can only imagine how bad it must have been during the peak festive period. To make matters worse, the staff at the entrance were unfriendly and couldn’t even clearly direct where the queue was supposed to start. Overall, a very disappointing experience. I will never support this business again, and I strongly advise others to take note before using this service.
