Paying for the nothing

On the 4th of September my month requested to have a car to rent so i had a few quotes i decided to go with budget car hire. Biggest mistake of my life. Their flights was delayed so they arrived late at the airport, as they went to pay for the car they was booked out for them the lady at the desk did not do the formal inspection of the vehicle instead she told them just to take the car, they signed the doc and took the car, they arrived at my place and left the vehicle in my garage for the duration of the stay, on the 6 September they left early to catch their flight that was at 14:00 back to Durban, my mom dropped off the car and yet no one to formally assist her she gave the key to the receptionist and left., 3 days later she gets an email indicating that she is liable for damages worth R3901.00, firstly how was the car damaged if it wasnt used, secondly if their employees did their job they would have seen that they damage was their but instead their service is so disgusting and pathetic that whatever goes wrong they will make you pay. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AS THEY KEEP YOU LIABLE AND BLOCK YOU CARD, GO FOR FIRST CAR HIRE NOT BUDGET THEY ARE THE WORST
