Pathetic service from Budget

I rented a vehicle from Budget to travel from Rustenburg to OR Tambo in October 2024. On my arrival at OR Tambo rental return, myself, the agent and, what seemed to be the supervisor, inspected the vehicle and found no defects. After about 45 minutes, I received a call from the agent stating that there was damage to the vehicle. I returned to the drop-off area and was shown the vehicle. The left rear fender was damaged. I requested vidwo footage which was absolutely inconclusive. I spoke to the Manager. I asked for additional video footage of the movement of the vehicle after I deopped it off, but received none. She, the manager, just inforned my via mail, that they have concluded their investigation and 'found fuilt on my part'. Needless to say all my money was with held. I can also state with hand on hart, that the danage did NOT happen under my watch. As well as 3 people inspecting the vehicle on return (video footage is available) and not finding anything??? Mistakes/accidents happen. I will be the first to admit, but I expect the same from Budget. The 'cold shoulder' attidute is totally unacceptable. Whenever you rent a vehicle, from Budget specifically, take a comprehensive video before you take the vehicle and on return - even the tyres and spoilers. They thrive on the ignorance of the customer!!! Fortunately there are may other extremely competitive car rentals out there. I should have read Hellopeter before I went to Budget - what a poor service deliverer. No mre business from me!!
