NEVER RENT A CAR FROM BUDGET CAR HIRE!! UNFAIR AND TERRIBLE SERVICE

We collected a car on Friday 29 December 2017, the rental agent handed me the key in the office area and informed us that we could collect the car from the parking bay. No one from Budget did a physical inspection with us before we left with the car. We rented the car in the condition we found it in (without a backboard).

Upon returning the car, we made a note on the rental slip that the car had no backboard. We spoke to a supervisor who informed us that they would check video footage of the car before we rented it. No video footage was shown to us to prove that they gave us the car with a boot cover

It's unfair that we are being billed for this as we are not responsible for this unaccounted for backboard. I will never recommend Budget Car hire to anyone or make use of their service ever again. This is very unfair!
