Insurance **** with Avis-Budget

I booked and paid online for a car rental on the french website BUDGET in South Africa (Cape Town). The price of 13.500 zar for 15 days included : - unlimited mileage. - the costs of returns to another agency. - the insurance. - the deductible in case of accident. - local taxes. - participation in the car registration costs. - franchise. I only had to pay locally for the optional services, namely: GPS rental and the additional driver, all for 1900 Zar. The rental process was very fast. I was just asked to present my driver's license and my credit card (Gold card that include insurance) and to sign on a small Ipad screen to confirm my credit card and fill in my email. And that I would receive the contract later. (That I didn't receive!!!). A month after returning the vehicle, I discovered that I was charge for an additional 10.500 zar for insurance that I did not ask for. Which means I pay more insurance than car rental. That does not make sense !!! But never, the person at the counter offered me a complementary subscription. He just asked me to enter my email on the small screen and sign. I was not given anything in return and I was told nothing, especially no additional insurance or additional costs. It's dishonesty, a real insurance **** as I just discovered on different forums !!! And now, we are being strolled between several people from the call center with whom it is very difficult to speak who do not want to hold us with a manager. We consider it a backdoor sale, it's dishonesty, an insurance ****, this **** seems to be well established with AVIS-BUDGET as I discovered on different forums.
