False advertising

On 21.08.17 we contacted Budget for a qoute on rental of 2 x minibusses for the weekend of 31 Aug,17- 04 September'17.

We were told by Budget that we should rather make use of rentalcars.com,as they give better deals through Budget.

We selected 2 x Huyndai H1 minibusses for 4 days,with unlimited km's @ R9474.00 for both vehicles.

The amount was paid to rentalcars.com and confirmation was recieved.

We phoned Budget to confirm the booking a few days later.Budget confirmed the booking.

We went to collect the vehicles on 30 Aug'17 at 16:00 from Budget Lanseria.

We were informed by Budget that they do not have the package we paid for with unlimited mileage.Also that we could not have paid for 2 x vehicles with one credit card.Also that 2 x vehicles could not be rented with one drivers licence.

After phoning rentalcars.com,wich is in U.K. we were told that we could not cancel the rental until after the booked date.When we confronted the sales guy at rentalcars.com over the phone about false advertising,he admitted that they were aware of it.

Budget could not refund us,as we made the rental through rentalcars.com.

We still haven't recieved any refund to date.

Why would Budget refer us to a company that they are aware of being ******?

All seems a bit too much like a kickback **** between rentalcars.com and Budget,where no-one takes responsibility.
