Deposit not received and funny damage claims from Budget

I rented a car from 31st to 2nd Jan 2020 and made a deposit of 2500. when I return the car was told money will be deposited within 7 day. to date have not received it. Only to get an sms that they deducted R1582.61 for damages. The had the dent when I collected it and was indicated wrongly on the system but the agent I checked with noted it on the paper. Never rent a car with Budget
