Charging for something you DID NOT DO!?!?!?!

<p>So....</p> <p> </p> <p>On the morning of 26th June 2016 I bokked to rent a car from Budget insurance at O.R Tambo. The initial booking was from 26 June 2016 15:30 to 01 July 2016 17:30. (R 1136.00)</p> <p> </p> <p>On the 1st July at 7:44am I phoned and requested to extend my rental untill the 23rd July 2016, no issue there. The extra amount was R 992.62</p> <p> </p> <p>I then took back the car at around 13:00 on the 8th July 2016, after filling it up at Sasol garage just off Jetpark road. </p> <p> </p> <p>So the full rental should be R 2128.62, YET an amount of R 2672.88 was deducted, a variance of R544.26.</p> <p> </p> <p>When phoning then today, 16 July 2016 I spoke to a lady that said from her side it looks like the car was returned without refueling. I should phone back on monday!</p> <p> </p> <p>So, I'm not sure if you are charging me R 544.26 for refueling about 0.5 litres worth of petrol or, someone got it REALY wrong with the inspection.
