Budget (now Avis Budget) **********ly kept the additional money they docked from my Credit card, supposedly to cover petrol (OK), possible traffic offences (there were none) and/or damage to the vehicle. The car we took delivery of at CapeTown airport had minor scratches on the right rear which were pointed out to us and supposedly noted on the delivery document. Now they claim we caused these scratches, and refuse to refund my money. (On delivery this refund was promised within 72 hours). They sure ‘Try Harder” - to make money by fair means or foul!)
